Aloha everyone! Welcome to my very first website. Helensu.com! woo hoo! Hope you’re as excited as I am.
Okay, let’s begin. I lived a majority of my life in Denver Colorado. Every time I tell people I lived there, they always ask me ridiculous questions like. Do you guys have Wal-Mart? Do you guys have McDonalds? And I always say no, we live in caves and wear leaves and hunt our own food. No Silly! Denver was a cool place for me to grow up. I have great friends there, my family lives there, and I visit at least twice a year. The only thing about Denver I didn’t like was defiantly the weather. We got all 4 seasons, but I am defiantly not a girl who likes to be cold. Every time winter came along, I would get really sad. I’ve always seen myself as a California type, maybe because of the ocean and the palms trees, and let’s not mention the sunny weather about 360 days out of the year! The thing I most remember about Colorado is probably all the great times I shared with my good friends. Most of them I’ve known since elementary school or before. Their was never much to do there, so we would sit around and talk and eat all the time. And since we’re on the topic about eating. I eat a lot! And my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to go out to dinner with good company!
But let’s fast forward a little bit. Okay, I moved to California about 2 years ago now. I originally moved here for school, and was attending a private university for fashion design because I thought I wanted to be a fashion coordinator. After about a year, I decided it wasn’t for me and later transferred to cal state long beach where I currently attend. Though school is important to me, after moving here I realized modeling/entertainment business was what I really wanted to do. I love being in front of the camera and I love looking at the end results. It was really hard for me at first. Their were many times I would catch myself crying just because I didn’t know what I was doing here. I didn’t really have any friends, didn’t know anyone, and what I wanted to do as far as modeling seemed unreachable. But some how, I pulled myself together and now I am launching my new site. When I look back at the last two years, I’ve realized I have grown so much. I’ve matured and have met some great people along the way. At this moment I feel very accomplished, but of course there is so much more for me to do. I really would love to host my own television show one day, because it’s such an amazing feeling to be in front of a camera and to be able to show the world who I really am. But that’s not all. Every weekend I go-go dance at a good majority of the clubs in Hollywood if I’m not traveling that is. I love dancing and have been doing it since I can remember. When I was little I’ve taken ballet, hip hop, piano, swimming, gymnastics, and ice skating lessons. But out of all those things, dancing has always been my passion. In high school I was a cheerleader, but yet I was on the debate team. So to sum me up I was a piano playing, arguing cheerleader? Haha I don’t know, I just love lots of things and often times I try to do too much. Which then causes me to over think everything? I’ve always been such a spaz, why? I have no idea. I’ve always wanted to have one of those cool and chill personalities the popular kids have. But I am who I am. And what I am is a spaz!
